Vintage Trading Company

If any of you are in the Exeter area the 'Vintage Trading Company' is well worth a visit. We currently have a stand there selling more of our reclaimed furniture, cushions etc and there are lots of other traders with all manner of lovely vintage clothes, handmade gifts and homewares. They can be found at Marsh Barton and are open every day- a treasure trove for curio hunters!

Well, its been a couple of months full of painting and refurbishing but very little blogging! 

Now that spring had kicked in at last we've been able to bring lots of items out of storage and set to work on them, even leaving a few to dry in the sunshine on occasion!

We've been trying out some new furniture colour combinations (mustard yellow chest of drawers anyone?!)  Also trying to recreate some of the original finishes older pieces might have once had.

 Normal opening times will be resuming at Green's shortly- its been a bitterly cold month but it hasn't stopped us from finding and working on some great new furniture. We've had lots of lovely new things come and go in the shop in chilly March. We also have a new range of handmade cushions that we think add some spring colour to the place!

February finds

We have lots of new furniture coming into the shop this month including some lovely side chairs that have been stripped/waxed and given a new lease of life, chests of drawers, small and large tables plus a new range of handmade cheese/ bread boards in varying sizes in apple, spalted beech, ash, chestnut and oak.
